"Be Close to Jesus" from 2 Kings 11

The life of Martin Luther is one of the most fascinating stories in the history of Christianity. It has all the stuff of a good novel: parental conflict, spiritual agony, life-changing moments, near-misses, princes, popes, emperors, castles, kidnapping, mobs, revolution, massacres, politics, courage, controversy, disguises, daring escapes, humor and romance. And not only is it a good story, it marks a major turning point in western history and in Christianity.

Luther was struck by the power of the simple phrase. He meditated on its meaning for several days, and the full significance of the passage changed his life. No longer terrified of God or enslaved by the system of religious merits, Luther was finally able to rest in the knowledge that faith was all that was necessary to save him. The new perspective became evident in his lectures and conversations with other faculty, and before long his ideas became prominent at the University of Wittenburg.

The kindness of God will lead us to repentance.
We need to humble ourselves before God as He is not looking for those who are in higher position.

Athaliah wants to be the queen of Judea. Thou she became one it was not for long.
God drop those who boast. When we come to God He is our refuge. We live by faith not by sight.

Satan will try to cut off the decendants of the Mesiah.

Jesus will spit us out of His mouth when we are luke warm - those who do not heed God's word, people who are getting worse.
The next we should know to be close to Jesus is that God will rescue us. Rejoicing that God is faithful and we should not complain.
If we are so relax we sometimes forget the Lord. Whenever we are healthy and strong we enjoyed our life so much and forget the Lord.

Even thou we are not faithful Jesus died for us. If we want to be close to God, He wants to occupy our hearts, focus our mind and hearts to God, give Him time and honour. Don't treat God like a mall with shopping list that you want Him to be done. We need to talk to God. And Let Him be above all things.

To be with God expect Him to speak to you and let help Him you with all your trials.
