"Don't Neglect Jesus" from Revelation 2:1-7

Don't Neglect Our first priority our relationship with the Lord.

"To the angel of the church in Ephesus write:
These are the words of him who holds the seven stars in his right hand and walks among the seven golden lampstands: 2I know your deeds, your hard work and your perseverance. I know that you cannot tolerate wicked men, that you have tested those who claim to be apostles but are not, and have found them false. 3You have persevered and have endured hardships for my name, and have not grown weary. 4Yet I hold this against you: You have forsaken your first love. 5Remember the height from which you have fallen! Repent and do the things you did at first. If you do not repent, I will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place. 6But you have this in your favor: You hate the practices of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate. 7He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes, I will give the right to eat from the tree of life, which is in the paradise of God.

The meaning of the angels in revelation are the messengers.

7 Stars - angels of 7 churches

The church of Ephesus:
They are hardworking, with perseverance and do not tolerate wicked man, but they don't have Jesus in their hearts.

Even if we do our ministry and our tasks in the church we must always remember "Do not forget our relationship with the Lord".

The source of everything is our love with Jesus Christ and we need that Love.

What is our first love?

It is our devotion with our Lord. Sometimes we pray but we don't mean it. Thou we say the right words but we don't mean it with our hearts then it's useless.

It doesn't matter how many years we serve the Lord, but the real concern of God is our Love for Him.

The meaning of 1st:
Love for you brothers.
Love for the second coming of Jesus.

Matthew 22:37 Jesus replied: " 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.'

The best way to express love is time. Giving Jesus our time for devotion.

Revelation 3:19 Those whom I love I rebuke and discipline. So be earnest, and repent.

We need to have a listening mind and heart to know what is God saying. Remain in the Love of God.

Pastor's Message
Psalm 55:22 "Cast your cares on the LORD
and he will sustain you;
he will never let the righteous fall."

Do you know that God is concern about you? Even if He seems so far away, the Lord showed us that He love and care for us through His word. It's written in Psalm that we need to cast or to "Throw" all our concerns and worries to Him. May we have the attitude of giving up all our problems to Him knowing that God will take care of it of help us with our problems. Let's "throw it ALL to Him!"

Nice Christian Life Experiences
